Instruments and Materials Required:
Kilgore or Columbia typodont. Sets of instruments for Amalgam, Composite, and Endo. Natural teeth (we don't sell them). Bur Blocks. Request a complete list at (909)824 7179 x 127 or 126. DVDs for home use will be given.
Class outline:
Day 1: Introduction and discussion. Clinic: Class II preps, ivorine and natural teeth on maniken
Day 2: Lecture: Prosthodontics for the writen part of the exam.
Day 3: Mock Board #1: Prosthodontics. Runs like the writen exam.
Day 4: Discussion / Lecture. Clinic: Bridge preps.
Day 5: Clinic: Bridge preps.
Day 6: Mock Board: Bridge. Discussion on patient sign-up procedures.
Day 7: Discussion. Clinic: Class III composite on natural teeth.
Day 8 Clinic: Class II and Class III
Day 9: Discussion / Lecture. Clinic: Periodontics instrumentation and practical in typodont.
Day 10: Clinic: Perio on partners.
Day 11: Patients Evaluation: Appointments.
Day 12: Mock Boards: Class II and Class III
Day 13 Periodontics Lecture and Mock Board- Dr. Fitzgerald- Extra
Day 14: Lecture and Mock Board: Endodontics for the writen part of the exam. Dr. Tkachik
