Post Licensure
: Information We have developed several courses as Continuing Education offerings for dentists who are licensed and practicing but would like to improve their skills in specific areas. In some instances they have limited their practice procedures until developing the confidence to work in these areas through our courses. We have not designed these courses to compete with any University continuing education courses, the purposes are quite different. The Universities will often present courses to refine a practioner understanding of recent developments and techniques, but our emphasis is the BASIC understanding and skills. This seems to be a largely ignored area by the universities, so we are pleased to "fill the gap". If you are not comfortable performing endodontics procedures, or if you have limited yourself to anterior teeth, we can help with this. There is no reason why you should be referring cases that you could easily handle, and if you are limited in your range of capabilities in the practice for which you work, it will help you quite a lot to extend these. If removable prosthodontics is always a challenge and something you dislike, then probably it is because you are not thinking the problems through completely and are not really in control of the case. We can help here - giving you a much better understanding of the problem areas and the precautions so that removable pros will become a pleasure for you. We all know that dentistry can be stressful and difficult, but this mostly depends upon how much control you actually have over your cases. We want our CE courses to help you enjoy your practice experience more - to give you the control and thus the power to get and give pleasure in your interaction with patients. All of our CE courses offer Continuing Education Credit as they are registered with the California Board of Dental Examiners.
